Fine-art galleries and Outsider Art lovers,
The EOAF (European Outsider Art Fair) is a pure and original Dutch- and European initiative to present Outsider Art, Art Brut, Self-taught, Folk-, Intuitive, Primitive- and Visionary Art in Europe with great care and in an original manner. The EOAF is of the opinion that Outsider Art / Art Brut deserves a solid and valued position in the European art world. Apart from the great and famous art fairs as Art Verona, Basel Art Fair, Art Cologne etc., the EOAF considers that Outsider Art / Art Brut should be higher appreciated than only being a minor section of the international world of Art Fairs.
According to the EOAF, art galleries should not be just a number. The point is that the name is related to quality. The EOAF offers this to all galleries which are specialized in Outsider Art /Art Brut. The EOAF intends to present a global Outsider Art /Art Brut collection: therefore art galleries from the USA, Australia, Russia and Europe will be approached to investigate their interest.

The Vetting Commission consists of Outsider Art experts. They judge whether the gallery (and its artists) can be admitted. The EOAF draws up an individual, binding agreement with each gallery, with a ‘made to measure’ formula. Subscription is only open to galleries. Studio’s, institutions etc. with talented artists can subscribe as galleries or can accommodate the artists with a special gallery. The artist, however, will be judged individually. The EOAF has, next to her sponsors, a number of relevant relations who can deliver several useful services to the art galleries.
